Tradition, Flavors and Domestic Products
Plac u Cestica is a gathering place for local agricultural producers, craftsmen and lovers of local products. It takes place in front of the Cestica Municipality headquarters, at Dravska 1a, every first Saturday of the month starting in July.
At this monthly event, visitors can find a diverse range of local products – from fresh fruit and vegetables, honey, jams and jellies, pumpkin seed oil, fruit and dessert wines, to handmade wooden products and traditional household tools. In addition to the rich offer of exhibitors, Plac u Cestica is always accompanied by a pleasant atmosphere with live music and socializing in a relaxed environment.
The square is visited by numerous locals and guests, including the Mayor of the Municipality Mirko Korotaj and the President of the Municipal Council Darko Majhen. Exhibitors present their products, among which the wooden accessories of the "Šobak" craft stand out, elderberry products from the Štefanec family farm, the assortment of the Podbojec family farm, honey and bee products, as well as various agricultural products from our gardens and fields.
